The short version: Use SolversBoard to learn — not to cheat. Be respectful. Pay what you owe. We provide the Service as-is and will do our best to keep it running well. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited. Questions? Contact us anytime.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SolversBoard (“the Service”), operated by SolversBoard, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Delaware corporation headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SolversBoard is an AI-powered educational platform that provides an interactive digital whiteboard, an AI tutor named Meg, handwriting recognition, AI-generated questions, real-time personalized feedback, progress tracking, and gamification features including XP, usage streaks, and badges. The Service covers 7 academic subjects across 105 topics for K–12 and college-level students.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials
  • Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account
  • Not share your account with any other person

4. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. Users under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements or that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

5. Subscription and Billing

SolversBoard is offered on a monthly subscription basis at $12 per month, following a 14-day free trial.

Free trial

Your 14-day trial begins when you enter a valid payment method. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically each month on your billing date. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

Refunds

We offer refunds at our discretion. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, contact us and we will make it right.

Price changes

We will provide at least 30 days notice before any price increase. Continued use of the Service after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful educational purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to cheat on exams, assignments, or assessments in violation of your institution's academic integrity policies
  • Submit content that is offensive, harmful, harassing, or violates the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems, or other users' accounts
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate questions, analyze handwriting, and provide academic feedback. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information. SolversBoard is designed as a supplementary educational tool and does not replace qualified teachers, tutors, or professional instruction. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and technology comprising the Service are the intellectual property of SolversBoard, Inc. and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in account termination and legal action.

9. User Content

You retain full ownership of any content you create using the Service, including canvas drawings and handwritten work. By using the Service, you grant SolversBoard, Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, transmit, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing AI feedback and improving Service quality. We will not share your content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control including third-party service outages. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, that results obtained from the Service will be error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SolversBoard, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Norfolk, Virginia, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service with a revised “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
