Built for institutions
SolversBoard's School plan is designed for the full complexity of institutional learning: multiple teachers, multiple classes, hundreds of students, varying curricula, and administrators who need oversight without micromanagement.
It scales from a single tutoring centre to a multi-campus school district - and the price is flat: $6 per seat per month, with no cap on the number of seats.
Admin dashboard
Every school account comes with an Admin dashboard - a centralised view of everything happening across the institution.
From the admin panel, administrators can:
- Invite and manage teachers - add teachers by email, assign them to classes, set their permission levels, and remove access instantly if someone leaves the institution.
- Invite and manage students - add students individually or in bulk. Students receive an invitation email and can activate their account in one click.
- View organisation-wide usage - see which students are active, which are inactive, how many questions have been generated this week, and which subjects are being studied most.
- Upload shared curriculum documents - upload PDFs or text documents that all students and teachers in the organisation can use as the basis for AI-generated questions. This ensures the questions Meg generates are directly tied to what is being taught in your classroom.
- Monitor performance summaries - see accuracy rates and session counts across the whole school, or drill down to a specific class or individual student.
Teacher dashboards
Teachers have their own dedicated dashboard showing only their students. From here, a teacher can:
- See each student's most recent session, their overall accuracy, and their recent topic coverage
- Open and review any shared session in full - questions, canvas drawings, Meg's feedback, scores
- Upload their own curriculum document for question generation tailored to their specific class
- View the class leaderboard and send encouragement to students who are climbing the ranks
- Share their own sessions with students as demonstration material
Curriculum upload
One of the most powerful features of the School plan is curriculum upload. Admins and teachers can upload their own documents - lesson notes, past papers, textbook chapters, revision guides - and SolversBoard will generate questions directly from that material.
When a student in a School plan organisation generates questions, they have the option to practise from:
- General AI questions - drawn from Meg's broad subject knowledge
- Class material - questions generated from the admin-uploaded document
- Teacher material - questions generated from their specific teacher's uploaded notes
This means students are always practising on content that is directly relevant to what they are learning in class - not generic textbook problems.
Class leaderboards
Friendly competition is one of the most effective motivators in a classroom. SolversBoard includes class leaderboards that rank students within an organisation by XP, accuracy, or streak.
Leaderboards are visible to all students in the organisation and update in real time. Teachers can reference them in class to celebrate progress, and students often push each other to maintain their position.
Leaderboards are opt-in at the admin level - schools that prefer a non-competitive environment can disable them.
LTI integration with Canvas
For institutions already using Canvas LMS, SolversBoard integrates via LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability). This means:
- SolversBoard appears as a tool directly inside Canvas - students don't need to navigate to a separate website
- Students are authenticated automatically via their Canvas login - no separate SolversBoard account needed
- Teachers can assign SolversBoard practice sessions as Canvas assignments
- Course-specific documents can be uploaded per Canvas course, so question generation is scoped to the right content for each class
LTI setup is handled by your institution's Canvas administrator. We provide a complete setup guide at /lti/register and offer support for the configuration process.
Session inspection
Teachers and admins can inspect any shared student session in full - viewing the exact questions the student received, the handwritten working on their canvas, Meg's feedback, and the final result. We cover this in detail in the Session Inspection post, but in short: it gives teachers the kind of insight into student thinking that was previously only available through one-on-one tutoring.
BYOK for schools
Schools that prefer to use their own API keys - from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google - can do so on the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) variant of the School plan, priced at $3 per seat per month. The school's own API key is used for all AI generation, and SolversBoard handles the interface, session management, progress tracking, and all other platform features.
Data and privacy
All student data on the School plan is processed in accordance with FERPA (US), GDPR (EU/UK), and POPIA (South Africa) requirements. Student sessions are private by default and only become visible to teachers and admins when a student shares them. No student data is used to train AI models.
